A fascinating historical newspaper clipping from the "Illustrirten Zeitung" from 1897, showing the house of Gotthilf Heinrich v. Schubert in Pähl - an important cultural-historical representation from the Bavarian Alpine foothills. The steel engraving after a drawing by E. Grünewald is in a remarkably good state of preservation, with slight age-related yellowing, which underlines the authentic character of the sheet. The sheet has the classic dimensions of a 19th century newspaper page and shows, in fine line technique, an idyllic landscape with a stately house, a pond with waterfowl and a dog in the foreground. This rare collector's item is of particular interest not only to lovers of Bavarian history, but also to art collectors, as it provides a unique insight into the architecture and way of life of the late 19th century.
