A fascinating historical newspaper clipping from the 18th century showing the traditional Portiuncula festival in Holzhausen - a rare example of religious folk culture at the end of the 19th century. The print is in a remarkably good state of preservation, showing only slight yellowing due to age and minimal signs of wear on the edges. The sheet, measuring approximately 18 x 16 cm, shows a detailed lithograph of an outdoor church service scene in which believers gather around a decorated altar, overshadowed by majestic trees and crowned by church banners. As an authentic contemporary document of Bavarian church history, this rare collector's item is suitable for both lovers of historical prints and collectors of religious art.
