Postcard Alpspitze Garmisch

A stunning black and white photograph of the majestic Alpspitze near Garmisch-Partenkirchen, taken by B. Johannes (Beckert) in the early post-war years, capturing the dramatic winter landscape of the Bavarian Alps. The historic postcard shows snow-covered fir trees in the foreground, which stand out strikingly against the mountain and create a perfect image composition. The postcard is in very good condition for its age with a light, natural patina. The corners show minimal signs of wear, but the photo motif is completely intact and high in contrast.
